24 X 30 OIL ACRYLIC ON CANVAS--

I LOVE POLAROID PICTURES

EVEN THOUGH I DONT OWN ANY!

IM DOING A STUDY IN PAINTING,
BASING ALL MY VISIONS AS IF THEY WERE POLAROID PHOTOS...

I NOTICED THAT PEOPLE LIKE TO GET THIS EFECT BY USING A REGULAR PHOTO AND MANIPULATING IT IN PHOTOSHOP...

WELL HERES A PAINTING WITH THAT EFFECT, THAT HAS NOT BEEN DIGITALLY ENHANCED...

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT..ON THIS NEW SERIES I WILL BE STARTING

I love the subtle usage of the verticle lines in this while still keeping a clear horizon line, i really like how the horizon line is broken up and then the little touches of the redish orange color on top. For me i get a sorta sea scape feel to it...anywho i like it cant wait to see some more ^_^

Great idea/concept for a series, and lovely works in it so far! The glaring white colour here is really impressive. the earthy colours in the rest of the piece are somehow harmonic and calming, but the dark that seeps in from the sides renders the image threatening.. i like this painting :D

Beautiful. It's got depth, and I love how the ochre just seems to break through on the horizon. This is one I could happily live with!

Love the way you've captured the softness of Polaroid pictures. Beautiful work!
