OIL ACRYLIC ON CANVAS BASED ON A DREAM I USE TO HAVE ON CHRISTMAS EVE. I USE TO HAVE THE SAME DREAM ABOUT 5 TO 6 YEARS IN A ROW AS A CHILD. EVERY CHRISTMAS EVE I WOULD HAVE IT. IT WAS BASICALLY A NIGHTMARE ABOUT A GIFT THAT WAS SO SMALL,SAY A JEWELRY SIZE BOX-LIKE A RING BOX. IT WAS UNDER THE TREE. BUT THE PROBLEM WAS--I COULD NOT MOVE IT--OR OPEN IT- IT FELT LIKE IT WEIGHED A MILLION POUNDS-BUT HOW COULD THAT BE WHEN THE BOX WAS NO BIGGER THAN 3 INCHES. THIS IS BASED ON THAT NIGHTMARE I USE TO HAVE AS A CHILD....
Ah nice work man. You have an extremely abstract painting style. It looks like nothing in this world. I like the purpose behind it. When I was a kid I didn't even get to sleep on Christmas eve. I was too freakin exited. Its interesting that you consecutively received the same dream for that many years.

i like the insecurity and sense of fear that is transferred through the composition, colours.. really looks like you're working through your own demons somehow. good.
Re-occurring dreams....reminds me of one I had as a child whenever I was ill - quite different from yours, but terrifying as well. My father had an old book his father had given him which was about the times of the Vikings (we're Danish) and had awful illustrations. One was of a war horse galloping headlong towards the reader...and that was what I dreamt about. Can still see it, as you can obviously see yours.
